The Master Cutler\\'s Challenge
THE MASTER CUTLER'S CHALLENGE, 2008-2009
The Master Cutler's Challenge is an opportunity for supporting worthwhile charities and have fun at the same time, involving a wide range of exciting and amazing events raising thousands of pounds for the Challenge. Enthusiastic supporters took part in events ranging from race nights to charity karaoke, from Willy Wonka type golden chocolate bars to a spinathon (peddling static bikes!), and from running round Sheffield's Monopoly 'board' to running up and down mountains.
On Friday, 25 September, the award ceremony was held at the Cutlers' Hall. A six-figure sum has been raised
Masters Cutler have sought to support specific charities during their year of office. This year's Master Cutler, Martin Howell has chosen The Children's Hospital Charity (registered charity number 505002).
