Portraits on the Ground Floor

The Cutlers' Company collection of portraits are displayed in various rooms and corridors.  Almost all are of men who had connections with the Company, as Masters Cutler, or were noted people in Sheffield's history.  There are also a number of portraits of national figures.

This is a summary page for the portraits on the Ground Floor, showing head and shoulder details of the portraits.  Click on the image for further information about the subject and artist.  Masters Cutler are indicated by * next to their name.

The Ground Floor area includes the entrance foyer; the corridor, the Hadfield Hall and the rear stairs. The Mistress Cutler's room is only open for organised tours.
