On Friday afternoon Megan Roberts and Hannah Skill from Esh Group Construction, delivered a session to all year 9 students (over 280) including the Better Learners Better Workers (BLBW) Ambassadors at Wath Academy.
The session gave students an insight into jobs in the construction industry, current projects and company values. Students were also able to hear how Megan progressed personally in her career and how she got the role at Esh Construction.
Hannah shared the importance of having transferable skills as well as good grades in education. Students were given an opportunity to ask Megan and Hannah about construction related questions. An inspirational and interesting day for the students and a huge thank you to Hannah and Megan for giving them their time and support.
