Castings Technology International announced the development of a new facility in Sheffield. As one of the only commercial titanium facilities in the UK, an £18 million investment package will mark another significant milestone for CTI.

The Company will relocate to a 195,000 sq ft production facility on Shepcote Lane, with operations expected to commence in the second half of 2026.
Representing The Company of Cutlers, Immediate Past Master Charles Turner MBE DL attended the announcement. CTI remains a dedicated partner of the Better Learners Better Workers programme, led by Sarah Ward, and continues to champion skills development through apprenticeships, as well as recruitment and retention of skilled workers to meet the rising demand.

Following a management buy-out in 2021, Managing Director Richard Cook and Chairman Kevin Parkin – both Freemen of The Company of Cutlers – have led CTI through a period of transformation. This includes the celebration of CTI’s centenary 2023 and now, the launch of this new chapter.
This investment and development not only strengthen CTI’s position within the advanced manufacturing industry but also reinforces South Yorkshire’s reputation as a hub for driving innovation, creating high-skilled jobs and industrial growth.
Congratulations to everyone at CTI on this exciting development and continued contribution to the future of UK manufacturing.
