COMPANY OF CUTLERS MANUFACTURING FORUM BUSINESS MEETING – 07.05.24

Today, Castings Technology International Ltd (CTI) were the first company to host the Company of Cutlers Manufacturing Forum Business Breakfast Meeting. CTI is just one of the Company’s Freeman’s businesses. Twenty-three Freemen and Friends attended the first meeting chaired by CTI’s Chairman, Kevin Parkin.

The Master Cutler, Charles Turner DL, and Chairman of the Freemen’s Committee, Richard Gould, were present and briefly explained the background to the event and the meeting’s future.

The three speakers included:

Martin McKervey – Director of AESSEAL PLC and Chairman of the Sheffield Property Association: Martin updated the group on developments in Sheffield and exciting investment plans for the future. Martin also gave details of how levelling up monies are being spent.

Roger Singleton – Riscon Solutions: Roger explained to the meeting the current sources of grant funding and how best to prepare and submit an application.

Nik Pratap – Pratap Partnership: Nik showed the latest trends in recruiting employees and techniques used to retain staff.
