On Monday 16th June, Master Cutler, Mistress Cutler & the Clerk, hosted the Annual Emergency Service Award Ceremony at Cutlers’ Hall, alongside Chief Constable Lauren Poultney, and Director of Finance and Procurement Linda Haigh (on behalf of Chief Fire Officer). The event brought together award winners, nominators, family, friends, Members of the Company and Freemen to honour the outstanding contributions of South Yorkshire’s Police and Fire & Rescue teams.

The Master Cutler opened the ceremony by expressing pride in the diverse representation of winners – from those working on the frontline to those in vital support roles. Each individual plays a crucial part in keeping our communities safe.
Award recipients were invited to collect their awards alongside their nominators, where their stories and achievements were shared, highlighting the significance of their roles and the reasons behind their recognition.

To close the event, the Master Cutler thanked all members of the emergency services, acknowledging their camaraderie, humility and unwavering dedication. Many members of both SYFR and SYP were celebrated from long-standing service and lifetime achievements.

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these individuals and recognise their contributions. On behalf of the Company, we would like to congratulate all of the award winners.
