September 6, 2024

Thank you to all those who have attended, participated, and contributed to the success of the First Tuesday Business Breakfast. Without your support and involvement, the event would not be able to go ahead.
Throughout July, August, and September, Steve Foxley and the team at AMRC Factory 2050 have graciously hosted the event. The meetings have greatly benefitted from being held in such an impressive venue, with Steve Foxley also providing valuable insights as one of the featured speakers in September. The presentation included an ambitious vision for the future, highlighting plans for £1 billion in funding and the creation of 10,000 new jobs by 2035. The Freemen and the Committee sincerely appreciate the support and look forward to continued collaboration with AMRC. Speakers from September’s meeting also included Heidi Dodson and Andrew Woods which were all greatly received.

Next month’s meeting will be held at Cutlers’ Hall, ahead of the Master Cutler’s Installation. Freemen and Friends are invited to join the October session, featuring three keynote speakers from BHP Chartered Accountants. The speakers will cover a variety of important topics, from building high-performance leadership teams to financial reporting and the rising trend of employee ownership trusts.
