July 4, 2025

July’s First Tuesday Business Breakfast was hosted by the historic Sheffield Assay Office, where attendees were treated to a morning of insight and meaningful conversation.

We welcomed Emma Paragreen, Curator & Librarian, Sheffield Assay Office, who shared a fascinating look into the rich history and importance of hallmarking.

Next, Dr. Belen Morales, Head of Analytical Services, took us through a compelling journey of business transformation. Her story of turning a struggling division into a thriving success.

Nicola Childs, Leadership Coach and Founder of Rise 25, who explored how different generations are motivated in the workplace. For younger generations, a strong emphasis on wellbeing and work-life balance.

The morning concluded with a powerful presentation from Martin McKervey and Mike McCarthy, co-founder of the Baton of Hope. This initiative is a powerful symbol for mental health awareness, aiming to break the stigma and encourage open conversations around mental wellbeing.
A huge thank you to the Sheffield Assay Office for their hospitality and hosting the Business Breakfast!
