On 7th June, our Better Learners Better Workers (BLBW) programme visited Hartley Brooke Primary Academy with Amazelab and Esh Group.
92 of the Year 5 students on our BLBW Primary programme took part in 3 separate workshops about climate change and sustainability. Esh worked with students on careers in construction, students then took part in an interactive session about climate change and how it affects us all. The other two workshops covered students designing their own sustainable village, considering different power sources such as solar panels and wind farms. They were then tasked with making the villages out of recycled boxes and paper before presenting their projects back to the other students.
It was such a fun and interesting day, also great to see all the ideas the students had and their confidence whilst presenting. Thanks to all employers for taking part and supporting our young people.
