The Better Learner Better Worker Ambassadors at Sheaf Training are incredibly grateful to Jack Kidder and his team at Henry Boot Construction for their outstanding support in assisting with the reconstruction of their polytunnel, which was severely damaged during storms Babet and Debi.
The project, expertly led by their Site Manager Stephen Bayston, has restored a crucial space for hands-on learning in horticulture and practical skill development for our students. Thanks to their efforts, the centre is once again able to provide valuable educational opportunities.
Ellie Cook, Student Services and Careers Lead said, “When the storms hit, the damage to the poly tunnel was significant, and it was clear that rebuilding would require not only resources but also expertise. That is where Henry Boot Construction stepped in, offering their support without hesitation, and reconstructing the polytunnel which is now stronger and more secure than ever. Thanks to Sarah Ward at Better Learners Better Working for approaching Jack to ask for help in the first place.”
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Henry Boot Construction for their incredible generosity and commitment. Their support ensures that Sheaf Training can continue providing meaningful experiences for learners which will make all the difference in the lives of young adults with additional learning needs.
