JOINT AWARDS SCHEME SPONSORED BY THE COMPANY OF CUTLERS & THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF ARMOURERS AND BRASIERS – 20.03.24

On Wednesday 20th March 2024, the Master Cutler, Mr Charles Turner, and Master of The Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers, Dr Roger Bowdler, were delighted to welcome guests to the Joint Awards at Cutlers’ Hall.

The tradition of these awards dates back to 1926 representing a long-standing commitment between The Company of Cutlers and The Worshipful Company of Armourers & Brasiers providing support to young people in the field of engineering. The awards are funded by both companies with the aim to empower students, junior engineers and apprentices by providing financial support to fund an activity or project to expand their knowledge and experience in their chosen area of engineering and manufacturing.

The Master of The Worshipful Company of Armourers & Brasiers, presented the award as The Clerk, Colonel Philip Bates, invited each of the winners’ sponsors to introduce them as they collected their award.
