MASTER CUTLER ATTENDS THE ADVANCED MANUFACTURING SUPPLY CHAIN EXPO – 10.10.23

Tuesday 10th October, the Master Cutler, Mr Charles Turner DL, was delighted to open the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce (BRC) Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain exhibition. The exhibition, which took place at Barnsley Metrodome, showcased 27 different exhibitors within manufacturing and organisations who supply directly to this industry. The sponsor of the event was Corrosion Resistant Materials Ltd, which is one of our Freemens’ companies, Adam Bradley, CRM director.

Freemen’s and Friends companies also included the Analytical Services Division of the Sheffield Assay Office, Pryor Marking, CBE+, Whyy? Change and PEP.

Master Cutler spoke about the crucial role of MiS in Hallamshire for manufacturing and the local supply chain for the region’s continued prominence as an exporting region of international importance. He congratulated the BRC for their exceptional work showcasing a successful exhibition and will be looking forward to attending the next one.
