Yesterday, the Master Cutler, Philip Rodrigo, Senior Warden, Professor Keith Jackson CEng CDir, Junior Warden, Ian Nicholls and Clerk to The Company, Martin van Kan (FIH) attended the Make UK conference.

The Master Cutler and Senior Warden had the opportunity to converse with Stephen Phipson CBE, Chief Executive of Make UK. Political keynote speaker Rachel Reeves addressed the auditorium on the government’s plans and strategies for the industry. Other sessions covered topics like the steel industry’s fight for survival and the integration of AI in manufacturing.
