On Thursday 29th February, The Master Cutler, Charles Turner DL, was delighted to present the cheque for the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2024 to the team at Sheffield Distillery.
The Sheffield Distillery is based at the Commercial Inn at Chapeltown where they make the well-known Assay gin, as well as a variety of other gin flavours and other spirits. Sheffield Distillery and the Commercial Inn host a diverse musical and entertainment schedule, therefore raising funds for the Sheffield Cathedrals Singing Programme which reaches into their local schools hits a sweet spot for the distillery.
