THE MASTER CUTLER HOSTS THE FRIENDS LUNCHEON & UPDATES FRIENDS ON THE MCC – 16.02.24

The Master Cutler, Mr Charles Turner DL, and the Members of the Company were delighted to host a luncheon for the Friends of the Company on Friday 16th February 2024.  The Friends of the Company play a crucial role in supporting the Freemen, their businesses and the overall objectives of the Company.  The Master expressed gratitude to the Friends of the Company for their continued support and provided an overview of the Company’s recent and planned activities for the year, aimed at continuing to support manufacturing and engineering in the South Yorkshire Region.

The Master also took the opportunity to thank some of the Friends’ companies present for their pledged support of his Master Cutlers’ Challenge (MCC) and presented the “seedcorn” cheques for them to launch their fundraising efforts. The six cheques were presented to Leonard Curtis, Coops EMBS Ltd, BHP, Highlander Computing Solutions, Hawsons & Pratap Partnership, by the Master Cutler & Jason Carr from Sheffield Cathedral.
