The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire is proud to support The Sheffield College with the new Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship. This programme has been designed to better meet the needs of the region’s employers.
Recently, the Master Cutler, Charles Turner DL, and Deputy Chief Executive at The Sheffield College, Andrew Hartley met to discuss how the apprenticeship programme aims to equip students with essential workplace skills. By working closely with education providers and employers, this initiative aims to secure a strong future for the manufacturing sector.
The Sheffield College can assist in recruiting apprentices, while employers will need to employ and support them throughout their qualification journey.
This is an exciting opportunity for employers and students alike – more details for Employers & Students here.
